Our History

In July 1983, the vision of Breakthrough's ministry actualized. It was registered as an evangelical drug rehabilitation centre, attached to the Christian Counselling Centre under the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association. A year later, it was officially recognized as a social service organization.

Since its establishment, Breakthrough Missions has not only had a clear vision, but also shouldered an epoch-making mission. This mission is that God calls us to face and respond to the problems and needs of drug addicts in today's society. Because of this sacred mission, we serve with life commitment, supporting lives with lives and building up lives with lives to demonstrate the great love and grace of Jesus Christ.

From the difficult days of the beginning to today, Breakthrough Missions has gone through countless relocations. Every time we moved, we saw God’s hand leading, and the shelters prepared for those waiting upon Him were often beyond imagination.
