In April, our inaugural Fun by the Beach family day at Changi Beach brought residents and their families together for an afternoon of joy and connection. The day began with singing and a hearty lunch prepared by Breakthrough’s kitchen, with some families contributing home-cooked dishes. Guided conversations followed, see using curated questions that helped families reflect on themes such as kindness, forgiveness, and gratitude. There were both light-hearted laughs and emotional moments of love and appreciation. As the event came to an end, families lingered, bonding and playing in a relaxed, joyful atmosphere.
