Saturday, 15 November 2025, marked Breakthrough Missions' 42nd anniversary. The last few days had seen heavy rain, and we thought that the special day would be overwhelmed by thundery showers. But by God’s miracle, everything turned around, and it became a day of blessing without rain. Everyone rejoiced in the Lord's presence. Many were moved to tears by the sermon, testimonies, and songs, and we learned to trust and submit to His goodwill and purpose. The prayer of a righteous man avails much. It turned out to be such a beautiful day that the name of Jesus alone was glorified.

With joy and a heart full of thanksgiving to the Lord, we trust and obey His Word that those who seek and wait upon Him shall inherit the land. We will not grow weary of serving Him and those in the bondage of darkness and addiction. As we move forward into 2025, we foresee that the harvest is plentiful, and we pray that the Lord of the harvest will provide the laborers and raise up more faithful ones.

From the rising of the sun, the day has arrived, for the Lord is so good that Breakthrough Missions celebrated its 40th anniversary on 11.11.2023. The event was graced by the Guest of Honor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Minister of State for Home Affairs and National Development, as he unveiled the plaque.

Looking back over the years, the biggest event Breakthrough Missions had ever seen and remembered on 1.7.2023 was that God had faithfully brought us into the “Spiritual Promised Land,” flowing with honey and milk. The long-awaited moment of truth has finally become a reality. All glory to God!

In spite of the sporadic rains and the humid, hot weather, it did not hinder the multitude from attending and tasting the goodness of God. The turnout was so overwhelming that we were heartened to see how the Minister, being humble and patient, sat through the event. Not forgetting to say a big “Thank You” to all the distinguished guests, friends, and supporters of Breakthrough Missions. For decades, they have steadfastly endured with us through many twists and turns. Indeed, the Lord remembers their faithfulness, as well as their sowing into the ministry. Their unwearying response in doing good and serving the Lord with Breakthrough Missions Singapore is not in vain. All of us sow in tears, but take heart that we will rejoice and reap a harvest as we continue to move forward and see the day approaching.
